Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego – Sorrento Valley is seeking full-time Credentialed Veterinary Technicians to join our 24/7 Emergency, Specialty Referral, & Teaching hospital in San Diego, California.

• Are you ready to change your focus from your current practice to the opportunities that await you in the area of specialty and emergency medicine?  For those of you already working in those areas and are looking to share and expand your skills, you’ve all come to the right place!  Here at Veterinary Specialty Hospital- Sorrento Valley you will find Neurology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Medical/Radiation Oncology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Advanced Imaging (MRI, CT, U/S, Radiology), Blood Banking, ECC (ER, Intermediate Care, ICU) all under one roof.  In addition to these specialties, we also operate our own Pharmacy.

Veterinary Specialty Hospital is acutely aware of how overworked and underpaid veterinary technicians have been historically and is a leader in the industry actively working to change that.  It would be impossible to name all, but a few include the support of our in-house social worker, highly competitive pay scales, benefits, an employee token reward system, employee pet discounts, not to mention a furnished roof-top dining area for a breath of fresh air and much more!

• Competitive wages with compensation based on education, experience, and credentialing
  • RVT :  $28 - $40/hr
  • VTS:  $35 - $48/hr
  • Differential applicable for overnight shifts

Additionally, we are highly supportive of and advocates for education.  We proudly offer 2 hours of monthly, race approved CE on a wide range of topics.  The sessions are conducted by our board certified doctors, residents, RVT and VTS credentialed technicians.  Veterinary personnel from all over are invited to attend in person, via webinar or can be given access to a recording of the session.
