Position: Varonis Engineer with Varonis certifications - VCA
Location: REMOTE
Description
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for the Compliance and Security Application tools support position at its center with deeper data security, reporting, compliance understanding, and experience in the Varonis Suite solution.
Qualifications
High School Diploma; Some College
Varonis certifications - VCA*
Previous experience managing, deploying, and designing the Varonis solutions
2+ years of cybersecurity technical experience and/or experience in a highly technical role
Experiences
Must Haves
2+ years of cybersecurity technical experience and/or experience in a highly technical role
Previous experience managing, deploying, and designing the Varonis solutions
Experience working in project environments & working to tight deadlines
Server (Linux, NetApp, EMC, and /or Windows) or Security application Operations/Implementation experience
Reporting experience - designing, producing, scheduling - Splunk, Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Compliance Regulations (SOX, PCI, CPNI, USGCPI, CMMS, etc.) and experience providing attestations to internal and external Auditors
Exceptional customer service skills (written and verbal)
Experience with incident handling for Security breaches
Experience providing 24/7 support as part of rotating team coverage
Change management experience (ITIL)
Outstanding troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Understanding of network and firewall connectivity
Understanding of NTFS and NFS permissions
Understanding of basic SQL commands
Understanding of Active Directory, Windows Servers and Services
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Rubi, Shell
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

8 hour shift
